About the Guest

Bryan McKenzie currently serves with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as the Director of Football for the Midwest Region. He and his wife, Jonell, have been married for 26 years and have 6 children.

Before serving in his current role with FCA, Bryan served 13 1/2 as the Teaching Pastor at Grace Bible Church of Brazosport in Clute, Texas. Bryan also served on staff with FCA in Central IL from 1995-2003. Bryan was an All-State Football player in High School, an All American in College and then a rookie free agent with the Atlanta Falcons in 1991 where his playing career ended with a shoulder injury.

As a coach Bryan has served as an assistant at the High School and College levels. Bryan graduated from Russell High School in 1986, has a B.A. in Communications and a double minor in Sociology and Religion from Georgetown College. Bryan also has an M.A. in Biblical Studies from Trinity Theological Seminary.
